Synopsis

During the Restoration, Napoleon’s officers were retired and had to live on half-pay. Useless and idle, they lost all their prestige and spent their time gathering in the hope of his return. Upon the death of the emperor, they conspired to offer the throne to the Eaglet (Napoleon’s son).
