This is the first time I have been awarded a prize. I am very proud and honored to receive the Charles Aznavour Award 2017. The work of this immense artist is deeply human, popular and sentimental, just like that of Marcel Pagnol. It is proof, just like Albert Cohen’s, that France is a country that knows how to recognize talent wherever it comes from!
