29 November 2024
The awards ceremony of the 1st "Marcel Pagnol short story contest" of the city of Allauch took place yesterday.
More than 250 participants, including some from Lebanon and Croatia, answered the call of the first “Marcel Pagnol Short Story Contest” of the City of Allauch.
In front of a large audience and in a very friendly atmosphere, the prestigious jury, chaired by Daniel Picouly, and including Mohammed Aissaoui, René Frégni and Nicolas Pagnol, awarded the 1st Prize to Bernadette Pepineau for her short story “Le Revenant d’Allauch” (to be read elsewhere on our website). She is followed by Philippe Guguen, 2nd, and Etienne Rose and Anne-Marie Thomaseau, both 3rd ex-aequo. In the Youth category (16-18 years old), Emma Derrien, a young student at the Monte Cristo high school in Allauch, was rewarded (see also our website).
Thanks to all the participants and to all the partners who made this first edition a great success: the organizer Floryse Grimaud, the city of Allauch and its mayor Lionel de Cala, Le Figaro, La Marseillaise, La Provence, France Bleu Provence, Editions Larousse.
See you next year!
